Our Leadership

Our Elders

Fellowship Bible Church is an elder-led church. We believe that the word "elders" and "pastors" refer to the same role, and our elders are responsible for shepherding the flock at Fellowship Bible Church (1 Pet 5:2).

While we are elder-led, we encourage others within the church to serve and lead in the areas where God has gifted them.

Curtis Ecklund- Elder

Curtis has served as an elder at Fellowship Bible Church since 2013. He loves reading, classic cars, studying God's Word, smoking meat, and Tabasco.

Dan Ruben- Elder (Teaching Pastor)

Dan is the teaching pastor at Fellowship Bible Church. Having served in the church in various capacities since 2012, he was ordained as the pastor of the church in 2020. He holds a Master's of Divinity and a Master's of Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is an ACBC certified biblical counselor. He enjoys fishing, rockhounding, coffee with his wife, and playing with his kids.

Jim Wakeling- Elder Emeritus

Jim has been an elder at Fellowship Bible Church since from 2015- 2026 and continues to add his wisdom and prayer to the Elder Board.

Mark Estep- Elder

Mark Estep has been serving as an elder since 2025. A retired high-rise engineer from LA, Mark enjoys woodworking, archery, and exploring with his Jeep. He loves studying and sharing the Bible.
